How Many MW4 Bot Lobby Hours Do I Actually Need?

How to size a Modern Warfare 4 bot lobby order against what you are actually chasing, whether that is a weapon, a camo tier, or the climb to Level 55.

The honest answer is that it depends on what is left on your list, so here is how to work it out rather than a number that would be wrong for most people.

Start from what is actually left

Open the game and look at the specific thing you want finished. There is a big difference between:

  • A gun sitting at level 1 that you want at max.
  • A gun that is three levels off its last attachment.
  • A camo tier where everything left is kill volume.
  • A camo tier where everything left is conditional.

The first and third move fast in a lobby. The fourth moves at close to normal speed, because the condition still has to happen whoever you are shooting.

Rough shape of an order

One hour is the right first order for most people. It is enough to take a weapon a long way, clear volume challenges, and see for yourself how fast things move before you commit to more.

A longer block makes sense when you have a list rather than a target: several weapons to level, or a camo tier across a class of guns. Booking it in one go means you are not re-queuing between sessions.

Whatever you book, ask in your order ticket. Your host is in these lobbies all day and will tell you what they are actually seeing on the thing you are chasing, which beats any estimate on a sales page.

Get more out of the time you buy

  • Decide your loadouts before you join. Time spent in menus is time you paid for.
  • Put the guns you care about in every slot you can, so you are never forced onto something you do not want progress on.
  • Do the volume work in the lobby and the conditional challenges in your own time.
  • Know your camo tier. Mastery camos in Multiplayer unlock in order, so progress on a later tier does nothing until the earlier one is done. The camo list has the order.

When a lobby is the wrong tool

If what you want is the whole mastery camo across a class of weapons, or a gun taken from nothing to max level, the hours add up. At that point a camo boost or weapon leveling is usually the better buy, because you are paying for the outcome rather than the time.

FAQ

How many bot lobby hours do I need for a mastery camo?

More than most single orders, and it depends heavily on how many weapons the camo covers and how much of the challenge is kill volume. Ask in your ticket before booking a long block, or look at a camo boost instead.

Is one hour of bot lobbies worth it?

For a specific weapon or a chunk of volume challenges, yes. It is also the cheapest way to find out how fast your own goal moves before committing to more.

Can I buy more hours later?

Yes. Order again whenever you want, and mention in the ticket that you have ordered before so we can try to put you with the same host.
