Your Activision ID is how anyone invites you to a lobby. It is the one thing a bot lobby order needs, and it takes about thirty seconds to find.

What it looks like

Your display name, then a hash, then a string of digits. Something like Name#1234567.

The digits are part of it. Names are not unique; the full tag is. An invite sent to the name alone will not reach you, which is why order forms ask for the whole thing.

In the game

Open Settings from the main menu, then look for the Account section. Your Activision ID is shown there.

On some versions the ID is partly hidden, with a button to reveal it or copy it to your clipboard. Use the copy option if it is there, because mistyping the digits is the single most common reason an invite does not arrive.

Menu labels move between Call of Duty titles and updates, so if the wording does not match exactly, look for Account or Activision Account under Settings.

On the website

Sign in on the official Call of Duty site, open your profile menu and go to Account Settings. There is an Activision ID section showing your current ID.

This is also where you would change it, if you ever want to.

What it is safe to share

Your Activision ID is effectively your public address in Call of Duty. It is what friends add you with and what a host invites.

What is not routine: your password, your email address, your recovery options, or 2FA codes. A bot lobby needs none of those, because you are the one playing. If a seller asks for them, they are asking for more access than the job requires, and an email with recovery access is a much bigger thing to give away than a game account.

When we run a bot lobby, the setup form after payment asks for your Activision ID and nothing else.

If the invite does not arrive

  • Check the digits. One wrong character and it goes nowhere.
  • Check you are on the account you gave us. More common than it sounds.
  • Say so in your order ticket. Your host can resend.

FAQ

What is an Activision ID?

Your Call of Duty account's public tag: a display name followed by a hash and a set of digits. It is what people use to add or invite you.

Where do I find my Activision ID?

In game, under Settings in the Account section. On the Call of Duty website, in Account Settings from your profile menu.

Is it safe to share my Activision ID?

Yes. It is the equivalent of a username and it is what invites are sent to. Your password, email access and 2FA codes are a different matter and should not be shared.

Why does a bot lobby need my Activision ID?

Because the lobby invite is sent to it. That is the only reason, and it is the only thing the order asks for.
